A cross section of Ugandans who reside in or usually travel to South Africa are excited about Uganda Airlines flying direct to and from Johannesburg, South Africa
Uganda Airlines will Thursday have a demonstration flight to Johannesburg with the Airbus A330 as a step towards attaining the AOC.
Uganda Airlines is set to expand its routes beyond Africa this year with the airline announcing plans to fly to Dubai, London, Guangzhou, and Mumbai.
“If you look out, you just might get a glimpse at the beautiful crane. #FlyUgandaAirlines #Airbus #A330neo,” the airline disclosed in a tweet.
Uganda received the first of its two Airbus A330neo aircraft in December last year and the second Airbus early this year to ply the long routes as the national carrier continues with revival efforts.
Uganda Airlines commenced commercial operations on August 28, 2019.
Currently, Uganda Airlines operates direct flights from its hub in Entebbe to and from Nairobi, Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, Juba, Bujumbura, Mogadishu, Kinshasa and Johannesburg.
