
NEWS:President Museveni has accepted Dr Richard Nduhura’s retirement request to enable him concentrate on his private business.
Nduhura, 65, has been acting as Uganda’s ambassador to France.
On 14th June 2021, Nduhura wrote to the president informing him about the intention to retire and concentrate on private business.

President Museveni responded granting him retirement and thanking him for his efforts for the long efforts to the NRM.
I thank you for the long term service to the NRM and welcome your offer for future part time contribution, President Museveni said in a letter.

Museveni also said consolidating on private efforts when one still posses energy is right.
Dr. Nduhuura before being sent to Paris, served as Uganda’s Permanent representative to the United Nations from 2012 and as State Minister for health (General duties).
