Bushenyi CAO Acao Bid farewell having been transferred

Bushenyi district chairperson Jaffari Bassajjabala has hailed the out going district Chief Administrative Officer – CAO Malik Mahaba for his zealous and hard working efforts he exhibited in Bushenyi during his two year term of office as the district accounting officer.

Jaffari said this at a handover ceremony held at the district premises today when Marik Mahaba was handing over the office to the incoming Chief Administrative Officer Willy Bataringaya who was has been serving as CAO Sembabule.

In his final remarks Mahaba thanked both the political and technical staff of the district for the years he has served in Bushenyi saying he has left behind a legacy as the district has been one of the best in terms of financial accounts reports

He however asked the incoming CAO to deal with the issue of Court cases the district is grappling with, saying that they have about 22 cases in court, which have taken a big chunk of the district resources, making them indebted 17million shillings to Total Uganda.

On the same function today, the district bid farewell to the deputy CAO Hood Nsubuga who has been transferred to Ntoroko district as a CAO where as Geoffrey Nkurunziza replaces him in Bushenyi.
