Kawempe North Hospital, founded by MP Muhammad Ssegirinya, has been closed due to financial constraints.
This is because the MP has been in prison on murder charges since September 2021, only three months after the hospital opened.
The hospital offered free services to the constituents, however, due to the MP’s imprisonment, the hospital has been forced to close.
This has been a major setback for the constituents, as they no longer have access to the free services that the hospital provided.
