Police in Loro has in custody one Solomon Ocan, 26, on allegations of hitting his father with a big stick causing his death.
It’s alleged that on August 29, 2021 at around 09:00pm at Wigweng village, Alutkot parish in Oyam District, Patrick Jimmy Oyengo, 54, had a domestic misunderstanding with his wife which turned into a fight.
The son, Ocan came in to intervene but instead hit the father badly and he fell unconscious and the following day succumbed to his injuries at Aber Health center III where he was rushed for treatment.
The case is registered at Loro Police Station under CRB 133/2021.
Meanwhile, Tonny Oyee, 39, a resident of Baryom village Agwata sub county in Dokolo district who was riding a motorcycle was knocked dead by a motor vehicle Reg No. UBG 362R.
The case was reported on August 31, 2021 is registered at CPS Dokolo under TAR 39/2021.
