Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has spoken about the fight that took place between her boyfriend Rickman Manrick and singer Grenade Official yesterday.
She posted a video of Rickman, who was severely beaten and injured, while he was at the hospital preparing for surgery.
Rickman Manrick and Grenade Official have both dated Sheilah Gashumba in the past. However, the exact cause of the altercation is still unknown.
According to Sheilah Gashumba’s tweet, she and Rickman Manrick were at a bar for a casual outing. She mentioned that her boyfriend does not typically go to bars, but she convinced him to join her, which led to the encounter with Grenade Official.
Sheilah explained that many musicians display disruptive behavior, and Grenade’s actions may be linked to substance abuse. Grenade reportedly threw a glass of wine at Rickman, injuring him. Rickman was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sheilah Gashumba stated that they are pursuing legal action in the matter and hope for a resolution to promote mutual respect among musicians.
“It’s regrettable and disheartening that the Ugandan music industry still harbors artists like Grenade who exhibit undisciplined and aggressive behavior. Grenade has been grappling with drug addiction for some time, and I believe it’s affecting his judgment. He attacked Rickman today,” Sheilah Gashumba tweeted.
