The two parties discussed modalities on how to improve Uganda’s industries, infrastructure, education and health sectors.
President Yoweri Museveni has met with a delegation from the World Bank and the two parties discussed a number of issues regarding development in Uganda.
Led by the World Bank Group Country Manager, Mukami Kariuki, the delegation met President Museveni at State House Entebbe on Tuesday.

The two parties discussed modalities on how to improve Uganda’s industries, infrastructure, education and health sectors.
“I called upon the World Bank to support our priorities including industrial transformation, infrastructure, education and health,” Museveni said in a tweet.
This comes at a time when the President has rallied Ugandans, especially the youth, to support government in its quest to consolidate wealth creation among Ugandans, with emphasis on four key sectors.
Speaking at the International Youth Day celebrations at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on August 12, Museveni named the four key sectors as; commercial agriculture, industrialisation, service sector like transport, and Information and Communication Technology.
