Premier League Fixtures: Who will win the 2021-22 Premier League?

Since its establishment in 1992, the 2021-22 Campaign will be the 30th season of the Premier League. This is the top English professional league for association football.

The 2021-22 campaign will be the third season to use the video assistant referee (VAR) review system.

The upcoming campaign is set to start on 13th August 2021 and end on 22nd May 2022.

Twenty teams will compete in the league; the top seventeen teams from the previous season and the three teams promoted from the English Championship.

Norwich City, Watford and Brentford are the promoted teams that will compete in the English top league.

Who will win the 2021-22 Premier League trophy?

Located in London, Arsenal has 13 Premier League honours (including one unbeaten title). The Gunners will use the Emirates stadium to play their home games. Arsenal finished 8th in the previous campaign.

Founded in 1874, the Lions will play at their home ground, the Villa Park in the the upcoming Premier League season. Aston Villa finished 11th in the previous campaign.

Having gained promotion via the playoffs at the end of the 2020-21 Championship season, Brentford will compete in the English top tier in 2021-22 campaign. The bees return to the top flight after a seventy-four year absence and this will also be Brentford’s first season in the Premier League. It will play at its home ground Brentford Community Stadium.

Brighton compete in the Premier League, the top tier of the English football league system. The Seagulls will play at Falmer stadium for their home games. Brighton finished 16th in the last Premier League campaign.

Founded 139 years ago, Burnley will compete in the English top tier next season. The Clarets who survived relegation (finished 17th in the previous season) will play at Turf Moor for home games.

Crystal Palace will play their ninth consecutive season in the 2021-22 season. Having finished 14th in the previous campaign, the Eagles will play at Selhurst Park for their home games.

Everton is a founding member of the football League and has competed in the top division for a record of 118 seasons since the Football League’s creation, having missed only four top flight seasons. The toffees are the second-longest continuous serving club in English top flight football. Having finished 10th in the previous campaign, Everton will play at home ground, the Goodison park.

Founded 101 years ago, Leeds United has 3 League titles and will compete in the 2021-22 season. The Peacocks displayed a splendid performance in the previous campaign finishing 9th on the table. They will play at Elland road for home games.

Leicester won the 2015-16 Premier League, their first top tier title. The club competes in the Premier League and finished 5th of 20 in the previous season. They will play at their homeground King Power Stadium.

Founded 129 years ago, Liverpool holds 19 Premier League titles. It is one of the most widely supported clubs in the world. The reds will play their 30th consecutive season in the upcoming season. Liverpool finished 3rd in the 2021-22 campaign and play at Anfield as its homeground.

Manchester City are the defending champions, having won their fifth Premier League title during the previous season. The Club’s homeground is Etihad Stadium. Manchester City will play its 20th consecutive Premier League season in the upcoming season.

Manchester United have won more trophies than any other club in English football, with a record 20 League titles. Manchester United is one of the most widely supported football clubs in the world, and has rivalries with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Leeds United. The Red Devils finished 2nd in the last campaign and will play at Old Trafford for its home games.

Founded 128 years ago, Newcastle have won 4 League titles. The Magpies finished 12 of 20 in the previous campaign and will play at its home ground St James’ Park for home games.

After winning the 2020-21 EFL Championship title, Norwich will compete in the English top tier. The club has won the League Cup twice. Norwich City will play their home games at Carrow road.

The Saints are one of the founding members of the Premier League, they have spent the majority of their history in the top flight since their first promotion to it in 1966; their longest continuous period was for 27 seasons between 1978 and 2005. Founded in 1882, Spurs has won two league titles. Spurs finished 7th in the previous season and will play their home games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Watford were promoted back into the Premier League having spent just one season in the Championship.They will play in the Premier League, the first tier of English football having been promoted in 2021. They will play at their homegrounds Vicarage road.

Founded 121 years ago, Westham United competes in the English top tier. The hammers finished 6th in the previous campaign and will play at London Stadium for their home games in the 2021-22 season.

Formed as St. Luke’s F.C. in 1877, the club has played at Molineaux Stadium since 1889 and has been competing in the Premier League, the top division of English football, since winning promotion in 2018. Wolves finished 13 of 20 in the previoys season.
