Police in Wandegeya are investigating a sudden death of 59-year-old, Najjuma Rossete, that occurred yesterday at the Christian Life Church in the Kigundu zone of Makerere III Parish.
It is claimed that Najjuma, a resident of Kisoga in Mukono District, has been receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital for the past three years, but despite undergoing various tests, no disease has been diagnosed! As a result, she was taken to the church but died shortly after 4 p.m. during prayer services.
Najjuma’s body was taken to the city mortuary in Mulago for further investigation to determine the cause of death, according to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy PRO, Kampala Metropolitan Police.
“She is said to have been receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital for the past three years. Despite numerous tests, no disease was discovered. As a result, she was brought to church. “She died at around 4 p.m. during prayer services,” said Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire.
