President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni presided over the passing out ceremony of 45 Air Force Defence trainees at Kalangalo Marine Training School in Kasanje sub-county, Wakiso District. Congratulating the officers on their successful completion of the training, Museveni expressed appreciation for their remarkable demonstrations during the ceremony.
The event was attended by key officials, including Defence State Minister Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Chief of Defense Forces Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu. President Museveni took the opportunity to engage with the locals during a stopover in Kasanje, assuring them that the government would prioritize the construction of the Kasanje main road.
Addressing the residents in Nakawuka village during another stopover, Museveni acknowledged the poor state of their road and pledged to personally address the issue. He assured the community that he would liaise with the Ministry of Works and Transport and their Member of Parliament to find a solution to the road problem.
