Rukungiri: The Rujumbura county Member of Parliament Rtd.Maj.Gen .Jim K Muhwezi has residents of Bwambara Sub-county in Rukungiri district to support capable and developmental leaders who are committed to transforming their communities.
Minister Muhwezi made the remarks yesterday 6th . December 2025 during his campaign visit to Bwambara Sub-county.
” Valve your votes ,Listen carefully and make a decision that you won’t regret in future.Kindly vote leaders who will transform your communities from one step to another. Don’t be confused”. Minister Muhwezi said.
He highlighted some of his achievements in the health sector saying that he has already donated an ambulance to help the community during referrals asking residents to give him another term of office such that he can he can complete the remaining pledges in his manifesto.
” In my last of office, will extend water and electricity to all villages in Rujumbura county because that is the only reason that forced me to run again for this position. So vote me because you have tested on my goodness ” .He added.
He also assured residents that the government of Uganda under the leadership of president YK Museveni is committed and has plans to extend electricity to across the country.
He also pledged commitment to continue improving access to clean water and supporting education as key drivers of development in the area.
The minister emphasized that the people of Rukungiri deserve leaders who understand their local challenges and are committed to effective service delivery.
