The District Police in Kaberamaido have apprehended the LC3 chairperson of a sun-county, Francis Ecolu, and his wife, Sarah Abito, over accusations of stealing seven bags of building nails valued at shillings 1.9 million. The alleged incident occurred in Kaberamaido General Hospital, specifically related to nails leftover from the construction of the maternity ward.

According to DPC Otabong, the investigation reveals that the accused couple took the building nails that remained following the completion of the maternity ward construction at Kaberamaido General Hospital. The stolen property is estimated to be worth shillings 1.9 million.
