The RDC Kazo District Ruth Asiimwe Sabiti Kashaka has directed the family of late Rwakajara Abel in Mbogo cell Mbogo Parish Kanoni Sub-County Kazo District to immediately stop all the activities they have been carrying out on the embattled parish land (ekitehuriza) until the court makes its ruling on 27th August 2021.

RDC made the directive while meeting the residents of Mbogo Parish yesterday Wednesday who have for long been accusing the family of
late Rwakajara for encroaching the Parish land for their own benefits.
It should be noted that for the past 20 years, the said land has been disputed by residents and the said family in courts of law, but for
all along, there has not been any court decision on who should own or utilize the land.
According to residents, for the past 20 years, they have been battling with where to hold meetings to chant ways on how they can benefit in
Government programs because the parish has been lacking headquarters.
Now after listening to the testimonies given by either side, the RDC has halted all the activities that have been carried out on the
land pending court’s ruling late August 2021.
She on the other hand directed residents to stop doing any activity on the land since it is still in court because residents had started
plans to construct parish offices minus the court’s decision.
She asked the youth to stop using much energy but instead use the available platforms so they can avoid being arrested for causing
violence in their areas. Asiimwe asked them to copy the habit of their grandparents who were never involved in any form of violence that has ever subjected them to prisons
