SHEEMA:
Sheema district which is known for its name”Sheema Neyagayaga” literally translated as shines has been hit hard by Jiggers.
According to the reports coming from Sheema District, over 80 households in the district have so far been affected by Jiggers with the most hard hit area being Bwayegamba.
Getrude Baziraaka, a Resident of Bwayegamba said that most of the school going Children in the area are already infected with Jiggers
