KAARO KARUNGI | LDC LIRA – The barrapo based lira campus is turning out to be another scam where young lawyers money is being fraudulently squandered.
Snoops from Karo karungi have carried out an investigative survey on the inpugned campus.
Talking to a reliable source from the lira university training hospital based university we have learnt that the lira based centre has no facilities and it’s a fallacy to say it has an address because students are rather studying in the training hospital buildings and yet students have been cautioned not to tell anybody else as they face immediate expulsion from the bar school.
Karo karungi has learnt that students at Kampala campus where caught cheating and this was against the bar course rules however the director and assistant director of the lira campus have however transferred malice to the students of barapo based lira campus .
It should be known that the most expensive thing at law development centre is acts and students claim the same administration sold them photocopies of the same and this cost them a tune of 800k however to their dismay the students are being told not to carry the same to the papers and being told to buy original copies from the ldc printary in Kampala.
Buying original acts would cost a student atleast 1million shillings not many can afford the same and this is termed by the students as extortion of the highest order.
Students also revealed to Kaaro karungi they don’t have a library and hence cant ably do their research which has hampered their quest for knowledge.
As if this is not enough students where forced to pay a mandatory medical fee which was part of the tuition however to their dismay they are made to meet the costs of their medication which they see as exploitation of those in the administration.
Ldc lira’s autocratic tendencies have suffocated and suppressed students voices as they are always threatened to be discontinued and expelled if at they air out their grievances.
LDC students need to be helped because it seems the problem is not theirs but the entire administration is rather rotten and needs to be disbanded.
