
Police in Lwengo district has launched investigations on the gruesome murder of a 38-year-old man.
Yesterday morning, the lifeless body of Joseph Bwanika, a resident of the same village was found dumped in a banana plantation in Kisekka B village in Kisekka sub-county in Lwengo district, ad is believed to have been dragged into the plantation by his killers.

It has come to the knowledge of Kaaro Karingi News that Bwanika, who had a speech impairment, had gone to look for casual work when he was killed.
Muhammad Nsubuga, the Masaka Regional Police spokesperson, says that the assailants used a blunt object to strike the deceased on the head several times.
Nsubuga expressed concern about the escalation of murders in Lwengo and appealed to residents to be careful and promote neighborhood watch to avert crime.
Police visited the crime scene team retrieved the body and took it to Lwengo HCIII for postmortem, as investigations continue under the file number CRB 203/2021 at Lwengo Central Police Station.
