
President Yoweri Museveni will on Wednesday address the nation on the COVID-19 situation in the country and related issues.
Lindah Nabusayi the senior press secretary to the President confirmed the development and noted that the address will be live on all television and radio stations at 8:00 pm.

Museveni’s last detailed address on COVID-19 was on July 31 when he partially lifted the 42-day lockdown that was imposed in June to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
Among the key lockdown measures left included closure of schools, bars and places of worship among others.
The President is expected to announce new measures that should cater for the other sectors especially the re-opening of schools and when curfew will be lifted.
