Kampala – Ampurire Aliban Rukundo has picked nomination forms seeking to run on the people’s Front for freedom (PFF) party ticket in the 2026 General Election.
Ampurire picked nomination forms from party head quarters in Kampala to contest for the parliamentary seat of Rubabo county in Rukungiri district.
Shortly after picking forms, Ampurire told our reporter about his manifesto, which he intends to implement with the people of Rubabo county once elected especially on value addition of local goods.
Well known for his Developmental ideas , Ampurire said his intention to contest as Rubabo county Member of Parliament is to bring services nearer to people, by providing clean water sources, education, health, and agriculture among others to add on what he has so far achieved before being elected.
Ampurire is expected to face competition from the current member of Parliament Hon. Naboth Namanya who has also picked nomination forms from the same party.
