Police in Sembabule district is holding a doctor of Ntutsi Heath Centre IV who has been heading the vaccination campaign at the hospital for selling a COVID-19 Vaccination Card to a person who has not been vaccinated.
The suspect is Dr. Kalemba Emmanuel who had sold a COVID-19 Vaccination card to Colleb Mwebaze at Shs. 80,000. Sembabule Resident District Commissioner, RDC Lamazan Walugembe has confirmed the arrest of Dr. Kalemba.
According to RDC Walugembe, the acts of doctors selling these cards had increased which prompted them to investigate until they caught Dr. Kalemba selling the card at Shs. 80,000.
