KABALE – Two suspected killers of a 45-year-old woman at the Uganda-Rwanda border of Katuna in Kabale district have survived a mob attack.

The suspects; Amos Byaruhanga alias Kaboy and Samuel Saturday, both residents of Katuna Town Council, who are accused of killing Flora Muhirwe, a resident of Kanyanjoka village, Kacerere ward, survived being lynched yesterday evening.
A group of locals led by the deceased’s relatives traced Byaruhanga and Saturday out of their hide outs and beat them using clubs, but was dispersed by the police under the command of Henry Kisembo, the acting Kabale District Police Commander, and were taken to Kabale Hospital where they are admitted.
Kisembo warned locals against such acts of revenge saying that they are against the law.
