Rukungiri– The Minister of Security who doubles as the Rujumbura County Member of Parliament Hon Jim Muhwezi Katugugu has lauded Bishop Onesimus Ngoboka for supplementing government wealth creation programs.
During his tour to Bishop Ngoboka’s projects all in southern division Rukungiri municipality yesterday , Minister Muhwezi hailed the Bishop of Born-again Pentecostal Churches in Kigezi Sub Region Bishop Onesimus Ngoboka for such a vision that has fostered development not only for born again churches but the entire Nation.
“For us as government, we have made a stride in ensuring that Ugandans get an equitable education, but this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the born again Church because you have started schools that also provide education services to Ugandans ” Minister Muhwezi said.
He also hailed Bishop Ngoboka for establishing schools that have greatly supported the government in extending near educational services to citizens.
‘’Your services in education, health, spiritual can be taken for granted, as government we know much these services are important. I therefore assure you that we shall keep on supporting you whenever need be’’ He added.
The overseer of National Fellowship of Born-again Pentecostal Churches in Kigezi Sub Region Bishop Onesimus Ngoboka also hailed the government for supporting church activities and for creating a peaceful environment for preaching the word of God countrywide.
‘’ The government of Uganda under the leadership of H.E YK Museveni has for sure supported us as church we therefore appreciative to this Government for creating an environment that has favoured the smooth running of Church activities all that would have been impossible if the Country’s security wasn’t conducive’’. Bishop Ngoboka said.
Bishop Ngoboka also hailed Minister Muhwezi for being a supportive member of Parliament saying that without him alot of born again Church activities wouldn’t have been effected.
