Rukungiri – Paul Mucureezi, a football player at Uganda football national team ( Uganda cranes ) has asked youth in Rukungiri district to avoid behaviors that could harm their football careers but instead do more training to remain fit and achieve greater success.
Mucureezi made remark yesterday while officiating at the prayer session that was organized by Evangelist Alfred Mugarura Kaharata of Christ believers Temple with an intension of praying for Uganda cranes to play in the world cup and win the trophy a function that took place at church grounds in Eastern division Rukungiri municipality.
Mucureezi urged the youngsters intending to pursue sports careers to ensure they remain disciplined and stay off drugs and women.
He also asked the football prayers to continue with their education careers saying that there is another world after football .
Evangelist Alfred Mugarura Kaharata, the organizer of the prayer session said he organized the prayer session to pray for uganda cranes to play in the world cup and win trophy and also to play for local players to break through and play for international teams.
He also advised the youth to desist from consumption of drugs and alcohol saying that it affects their talents.
Paul Mucureezi donated four football balls to help local teams in their daily operations.
