The Nakawa West Constituency member of parliament Hon. Joel Senyonyi has wondered on his twitter handle how this regime of National Resistance Movement (NRM) might tell Ugandans to extend their thanks to it for the air they breath.

Senyonyi’s words come at a time when NRM is cerebrating 36 (thirty six) years of liberating Ugandans from the gun rule of the previous brutal presidents like Iddi Amin and Obote. This date of cerebration was agreed upon to be 26th Jan every year given that this is the actual date when the current government assumed power in 1986.

Senyonyi was surprised at the meaning of the liberation especially when very many Ugandans are illegally abducted, detained, whipped and some killed. His words seem to call for attention from responsible leaders about the conditions of people like Kakwenza, Segirinya, Olivia Lutaaya and others. He said that these illegally detained people are not liberated.

In a post he attached to his tweet, Senyonyi sobs at the words of the prime minister, Hon. Robinnah Nabanja. The prime minister forced it into her mouth that the current life expectancy of all Ugandans stands at 64 (sixty four) years. Nabanja goes ahead to explain how all this is managed by only NRM and God.

Hon. Joel Senyonyi’s latest tweet about today’s liberation day.

To Senyonyi, it is a matter that should be decided upon by the Ugandans especially at the time when the health sector lack operational tools to work with, poorly established schools, cases of insecurity every where and other government weaknesses.
