MBARARA – Two equipped men were on Tuesday evening shot and harmed as they attempted to burglarize a versatile mobile money agent at Manji, Kakoba in Mbarara city.
Sources disclosed to Kaaro Karungi that cops werewere patrolling Mbarara city roads to get it free from rebellious people in recognition of the 7pm time limit time when they arrived on the looters.
Two of the burglars were gunned down while others dissipated.
Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Regional Police representative says at around 9pm they got data that three unidentified men camouflaging as security officials, were ransacking individuals in Rwentondo cell, Kakoba ward and Kakoba Division.
The attackers had allegedly burglarized Shs 340,000 and 4 containers of pop from one Mwesigye Edison, a finance manager of Rwentondo and Shs 2million from one Kambale Phenix.
Kasasira says the looters were moving a white twofold lodge number UAB 647T.
He says Police basing on knowledge figured out how to block the attackers last evening and a shootout happened where 2 were harmed, and one of them circumvented during endeavors to captured the aggressors.
The vehicle was looked and various things were recuperated including 2 pangas, 3 iron bars, and 2 army caps.
