Ugandan singer Spice Diana has taken on a new role as the ambassador for the recently launched TV channel, Makula KiKa. The channel’s tagline, “ekirungo kyekyo,” loosely translates to “the perfect spice.” This announcement coincides with StarTimes Media Group’s 35th-anniversary celebrations.
While Makula TV primarily focuses on non-stop series, KiKa aims to provide a balanced mix of local entertainment, with the goal of promoting local talent and content. According to Aldrine Nsubuga, the Vice President of StarTimes, Spice Diana’s association with the channel is a natural fit and is expected to resonate not only with existing subscribers but also attract new customers.
In response to the news, Spice Diana expressed her gratitude and excitement for this opportunity. This new venture into ambassadorship adds to her portfolio of achievements, showcasing her as a prominent figure in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
