Rukungiri – Hajji Masokoyi Wassawa, the Rukungiri District Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) has been transferred to Kaberamaido District
Hajji Masokoyi confirmed this development during an exclusive interview with our reporter which took place at Rukungiri district headquarters in Western division Rukungiri municipality.
” On Monday this week I have received my transfer letter on Monday from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government informing me that I have been transferred to Kaberamaido district ” Hajji Masokoyi said.
He also thanked the people of Rukungiri for cooperating with him during his stay in Rukungiri district.
” I want to thank Rukungiri district especially the district leadership because we have for sure worked together and it was from that cooperation that we managed to develop the district together” Hajji Masokoyi added.
He also urged district leaders to uphold the legacy he built together with other district heads, including the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) and the LC5 Chairperson, to ensure continued progress and development.
