According to UBOS the main objective of the National Livestock Census is to obtain a count of the country’s livestock and their associated characteristics.
The exercise will be conducted from 17th to 28th May 2021 in all the districts in the country.
“It will involve door to door visits to all households with livestock in Uganda.”- UBOS in a statement.
The statement adds that all candidates for the positions of Enumerator for the National Livestock Census 2021 (NLC) jobs should send handwritten applications (hard copies) baring full residential and contact address to the Chief Admnistrative Officers of their respective districts.
“The applications should indicate the Job tittle, District, sub-county, parish/ward/village of residence in top of the first page of the application letter.”- the statement adds
The deadline for job applications will be 11th May 2021 at 5pm.
