Lukwago was accompanied by Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana alongside other city officials.
The building, which was under construction, collapsed on Sunday, 5 September.
Six people have been confirmed dead, eight have been pulled out alive while many are still believed to be trapped under the rubble.

AT the site, Lukwago said that many building owners have taken advantage of the lockdown and constructed buildings without supervision.
