KAARO KARUNGI | KAMPALA – The Directorate of Interpol Uganda has dispatched an online framework to facilitate the way toward securing authentications of appropriate conduct by candidates in Uganda.

Tending to journalists at the Naguru police base camp, Charles Birungi said the move is proposed to reduce crowding at the Directorate head office in Kololo.

He uncovered that the check of an acceptable conduct endorsement will presently bring 3-5 work days down from the first 14 days.

Candidates will be needed to initially get a charge free from Shs76,000 payable in the bank prior to signing in by means of the Uganda Police Force site.

By April 2021, the directorate of Interpol had handled 36,000 applications since January and a year ago, the police power gathered Shs3.9bn from letters of acceptable conduct.

A letter of acceptable conduct is an archive that police issues to an individual showing that they have no criminal record and it lapses following a half year.
