BUSHENYI – Police in Bushenyi district are holding Bushenyi Ishaka municipal engineer, Deus Nuwagira Beingana on four counts of threatening violence, Defamation, Computer misuse and harassment.
According to Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, Marshal Tumusiime, Beingana was arrested after being severally summoned to record a statement on the accusations against him by the former town clerk, David Betega, but all in vain.
Beingana was interdicted last year along two others Roberto Nuwagira and Jackson Muhwezi Beyendeza the municipal treasurer, on accusations of swindling funds meant for Bwatogo -Nyamushekyera and Kyeitembe – Omuruhita road construction in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
Tumusiime says the file has been arranged to be presented to the DPP for further management, thereafter, Beingana will be charged in court.
