Rukungiri– The former Forum for democratic Change (FDC) supporter and now the co- ordinator of Rtd Maj.Gen.Jim K Muhwezi for Kinyamahwa parish has appealed to residents of Kinyamahwa parish in Nyakagyeme sub-County Rukungiri district to reject the lies of some individuals and instead choose leaders with the capacity to lobby the government to fulfill manifesto pledges.
In an exclusive interview with Pearlnews, Mugurara said that NRM is the only government that has got good programs aiming at developing Ugandans from one stage to another asking them to support people who have the capacity to lobby from the government .
Mugurara added that the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party is the only party with the medicaine deal with the problems of Ugandans.
Mugurara used the same platform and asked residents of Kinyamahwa parish and Nyakagyeme sub-County in general to support Rtd.Maj.Gen. Jim K Muhwezi in the coming 2026 general elections saying that the man has got everything and he is able to make Rujumbura county a better place of living.
Who is Henry Mugurara?
Henry Mugurara is a Resident of Kinyamahwa parish (former Kahoko parish) in Nyakagyeme sub-County Rukungiri district.
He is a seasonal politician and a strong supporter of the National Resistance Movement (NRM party).
In 2021 general elections, he competed for Kahoko parish councillorship seat on FDC ticket but he unfortunately lost the seat to the NRM candidate.
Following, the collapse of FDC , Mugurara decided to join NRM party where he is now working as the co- ordinator of Rtd Maj Gen Jim K Muhwezi.
In the coming , Mugurara is also planning to again run for Kinyamahwa parish councillorship seat but this time on NRM ticket.
