Spain’s national soccer team has gone through another management upheaval, with coach Luis Enrique being fired after Morocco knocked them out of the World Cup in the last-16 round earlier this week.
The former Barcelona manager has been in charge since July 2018; however, the team’s recent lack of success has resulted in his dismissal.
The Spanish Football Association issued a statement declaring that both the president, Luis Rubiales, and the sports director, Jose Francisco Molina, had notified the coach of their decision.

The Spanish Football Federation has not yet announced a successor, but they hope to make a decision shortly..
