David Musema, the chairperson for the Arsenal Fans fraternity in Kasese Municipality, has called for transparency and proper accountability of the Association Sacco funds.
Speaking at the launch of Arsenal Fans Sacco held in Jeliza Hotel in Kasese town over the weekend, Mr. David asked Arsenal lovers to use the fraternities by embracing savings, promoting unity and education.
He challenged Arsenal fans to change the narrative of wasting money while cheering in Video halls but have mindset change towards development.

David urged the local community to join their Sacco saying it’s not destined to Arsenal fans only. Hilda Maate Wabukombi, the Executive Director Arsenal Fans fraternity, implored women to join the Sacco.
Call for Transparency and Accountability
Musema’s call for transparency and accountability is a welcome step in ensuring the proper management of the Sacco’s funds. This will help to build trust among members and encourage more people to join.
Promoting Savings and Development
Musema’s challenge to Arsenal fans to change their spending habits and embrace savings is also commendable. This will not only benefit individual members but also contribute to the overall development of the community.
Open to All
David’s emphasis that the Sacco is not just for Arsenal fans is important in attracting a wider membership base. This will make the Sacco more sustainable and beneficial to the community as a whole.
Encouraging Women’s Participation
Wabukombi’s call for more women to join the Sacco is crucial in ensuring gender equality and financial inclusion. This will empower women and contribute to the economic development of the community.
