The Minister of Gender Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi says by yesterday morning, a total number of 143,642 beneficiaries had been paid sh14,712, 531,850 since the exercise kicked off, and the government targets to reach 501,107 beneficiaries across Kampala Metropolitan Area, 11 cities and 30 municipalities.

Minister Amongi says some beneficiaries have not received money due to some inconsistencies in their record data which was submitted, some phones not registered on Mobile Money while others are non-existent.

Amongi stressed that they sent back the unverified numbers to town clerks to make corrections or include them on the list of those to be paid by Post Bank Mobile Banking Facility.
