A recent Twitter poll viewed by 9,921 people and obtained 939 votes has showed that 67% of participants want National Unity Platform (NUP) Party President Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert, aka Bobi Wine, to carry out a cabinet reshuffle on a large scale aimed at freeing The Leader Of Opposition Rt. Hon. Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba from the office.
In the poll, at least 33% of the participants wanted Bobi to wait to implement changes in parliament.
The poll was conducted by Hillary Taylor Sseguya, a Ugandan student at Harvard University who is highly critical and vocal about social and political justice. Taylor is nicknamed on Twitter “Justice Hunter” and he is known for his exceptional determination and outspokenness on the issue of social justice.

In his tweets ahead of the poll, he was extremely critical of LOP’s behavior and blamed it for “intolerance” after he appeared on the CBS radio show, where he criticized a ruthlessly all critics are “half-hearted young men” and cannot show him how to lead.
Mpuuga has criticized his critics, particularly within the NUP, who he says are “crude and enthusiastic in giving leadership to this country”.
This caused Taylor to discredit Mpuuga for being emotional and intolerant of dissenting voices.
However, Mpuuga offered to resign from the LOP and MP in case there was evidence to support the allegation that he sneaked into the State to negotiate.
Prominent satirist Yusuf Sserunkuuma was quick to poke fun at Mpuuga’s stance, saying there was no way one could engage in such high-profile negotiations and that he was leaving his mark.
“What does “evidence” mean in this context? Minutes, videos, pictures, or participant witnesses? (a) These talks (& I’m not insisting LoP attended any) participants spend 95% of time hiding evidence. (b) & sources of these stories always insist on absolute anonymity,” Yusuf Sserunkuuma Tweeted In Response To Mpuuga’s press handler Sadab Kitatta’s Tweet
Sadab Kitatta had posted quoting his Boss’s words at CBS Radio where he said; “The LOP @MathiasMpuuga offers to resign from the position & the Nyendo-Mukungwe parliamentary seat should @DailyMonitor bring evidence of his involvement in any negotiations/talks with M7.”
